UPSC CAPF 2022: Application Form, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus, Result

UPSC CAPF 2022 Notification will be released soon. The UPSC CAPF 2022 is a recruitment exam to be conducted by the UPSC so as to select the candidates for the post of Assistant Commandants in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). The selected candidates will be be posted in varied departments below CAPF such as CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF and SSB. 

The applying method for UPSC CAPF 2022 is expected to start from the month of April 2022. The candidates aspiring to seem for this test has to fill and submit the application form before the last date. UPSC CAPF Eligibility Criteria 2022:

Only Indian citizens are allowed to appear for the test.

Age Limit:
The age of a candidate ought to be between twenty to twenty five years as on first August 2022 (relaxations will be be given to the candidates from the reserved categories).

Educational Qualification:
The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute.

Physical Standards:
The candidate also requires have the physical parameters as given below:

UPSC CAPF Application Form 2022:

(a) Candidates are required to apply Online using the link Detailed
instructions for filling up Online Applications are available on the above mentioned website.

(b) The applicants are advised to submit only single application. However, if due to any unavoidable
situation, he/she submits another/multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that application
with the higher RID is complete in all respects like applicants details, examination centre,
photograph, signature, fee etc. The applicants who are submitting multiple applications should note
that only the application with higher RID (Registration ID) shall be entertained by the Commission
and fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.

(c) All candidates, whether already in Government Service, Government owned industrial
undertakings or other similar organisations or in private employment should submit their
applications direct to the Commission.
Persons already in Government service, whether in permanent or temporary capacity or as work charged employees other than casual or daily rated employees or those serving under the Public
Enterprises are however, required to inform in writing their Head of Office/Department that they have
applied for the Examination.
Candidates should note that in case a communication is received from their employer by the
Commission withholding permission to the candidates applying for/appearing at the examination,
their application will be liable to be rejected/ candidature will be liable to be cancelled.

NOTE 1 : While filling in his/her Online Application Form, the candidate should carefully
decide about his/her choice for the Centre for the Examination.
If any candidate appears at a centre other than the one indicated by the Commission in his/her
e-Admission Certificate, the papers of such a candidate will not be evaluated and his/her
candidature will be liable to cancellation.

NOTE 2 : Incomplete or defective applications shall be summarily rejected. No representation or
correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained under any circumstances.

NOTE 3 : Candidates are not required to submit Hard Copy of their applications to the Commission at
this stage.

UPSC CAPF 2022 Application Fee:

The application fee for UPSC CAPF 2022 test will be as follows:
For Male candidates from General/ OBC categories: Rs. 200/-
For Female/ SC/ ST candidates: Nil (Exempted).

Mode of Payment:

The application fee may be paid in on-line mode by using any of Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or internet banking.
The candidates may pay the application fee by cash in any branch of SBI using a Bank Challan.

UPSC CAPF 2022 Exam Pattern:

Exam pattern for written exam:
Mode of Exam: Offline
Number of papers – 2 of} (Paper 1 & Paper 2).
Duration of Exam: 2 of} hours for Paper 1 and 3 hours for Paper 2 of}.
Type of questions: Objective type MCQs for Paper one and subjective type queries in Paper 2 of}.
Medium of Exam: English and Hindi.

The candidates who are declared qualified within the Physical test are called for interview. The interview can carry 150 marks.

UPSC CAPF Admit Card 2022:      

The candidates can download their UPSC CAPF 2022 admit card from the official web site. so as to download the admit card, candidates ought to give some basic info like registration id/ roll no. and date of birth. The authorities can release the admit card three weeks before the date of examination. No candidate are allowed to appear for the test without a valid admit card.

UPSC CAPF Result 2022:

The results of UPSC CAPF 2022 exam are declared on the official web site of the commission. The result are announced within the form of merit list in pdf format. The merit are created on the basis of candidate’s performance in written exam and interview.
