Join IAF (Indian Air Force) is a dream that many young Indian foods. Many dreams of becoming flight officers (pilots) in the IAF. Others dream of becoming an officer of the Technical Department of the Organization. Others have the ambition to become ground service agents. But the reality is that what makes the IAF is not an easy task. They are not written and SSB Interview standing between the two candidates and their goal! In case of theft aspiring Branch, a barrier as PABT (Pilot Aptitude Test Battery) is also present! Speaking of the difficult selection process, medical and physical standards play an important role in it. To become an officer of the FAI (to be selected in the training program will become a) must meet certain physical standards that have been set. In case of theft of candidates Branch, must also meet an additional set of medical standards. In this article, I will cover medical and physical standards in detail.

IAF PHYSICAL STANDARDS (for all branches)
If the branches of service land, technical management, and theft, a set of basic physical standards exist, including a candidate must meet. In addition to these physical standards, flying Branch candidates must also meet additional medical standards too! Next, details of the physical and medical standards
To join the IAF, candidates, regardless of the mode of entry and qualification, must meet a number of basic physical standards. The list is quite long. But the main things that are checked are-
the ratio of the height and weight
Good physical and mental health
good hearing
well-developed breasts (the expansion should be at least 5 cm after full inspiration)
healthy bones and joints

In addition to the above standards, the height-weight ratio is also given much importance. The height and weight patterns are different in the case of male and female candidates. I did two tables in weight standards set by the FIA. They were clearly marked with “men” and “women” for labels.

This additional set of medical standards, in particular, indicates the IAF is in the capacity and capability of their drivers! As the charts show, the emphasis on vision (vision) and anthropometric measurements. Certain conditions of the spine can result in rejection, while other conditions are acceptable (shown in the table above).
