Criteria for NDA exam 2017 – 2018
The Commission on the Public Service Union (UPSC) has issued a notification of the Academy of National Defence and the Naval Academy in 2016. The examination candidates may submit an application before January 29 by the official website, the link is www.upsconline.nic.in.
The following eligibility criteria must be met to rest in the review:
Army-Wing of the Academy of National Defence: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination conducted by a board of education of the state or university.
Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for Class 12 Entry Scheme cadets at the Indian Naval Academy: Candidates must have passed Class 12 of the pattern 10 + 2 school education or equivalent with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Candidates appearing in Class 12 under the 10 + 2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this exam.
Applicants must be citizens of India / Bhutan topics / subjects of Tibetan refugees in Nepal / who came to India before 1st January 1962. The people of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and the countries of East Africa from Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention to settle permanently in India will be eligible.
Age limits and marital status:
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier July 2, 1997, and no later than 1 July, 2000 are eligible. Applicants must commit not to marry before completing their full training.
