CDS Result 2023, Merit List, Score Card – Check Your Result Here

CDS Result 2023: UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has declared CDS 2023 result for the written exam in March in online mode at upsc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared within the CDS (I) exam conducted in February can check the result of CDS 2023 by downloading the PDF file.

A total of 7,081 candidates are declared qualified whose roll number is mentioned within the result to appear for the subsequent stage of the selection process which is the interview round conducted by SSB (Service Selection Board).

Based on candidates’ performance within the SSB Interview, UPSC will announce CDS final result after which the scorecard of the qualified candidates is going to be released. How to Check the CDS 2023 Result?

UPSC will release the result of CDS (I) 2023 in online mode in PDF format. Candidates should follow the below-mentioned steps to check their results.
Step 1: go to the official website of UPSC- upsc.gov.in
Step 2: Visit the “Examination” tab.
Step 3: Click on “Active Examinations” from the menu.
Step 4: Click on “Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2023”.
Step 5: Click on the download of the Combined Defence Services (I) result in 2023.
Step 6: A PDF with Roll Number of selected candidates will appear on the screen. Press “Ctrl + F” and type your Roll Number. If it’s there within the list, you’ve got qualified within the CDS (I) 2023 Written Exam.
Step 7: If you’ve got cleared the CDS exam, Download and save the result of CDS (I) 2023 for future

UPSC CDS Result 2023 Scorecard:

UPSC will release the CDS 2023 scorecard together with the final result. CDS (I) 2023 scorecard is going to be released in PDF format. Candidates are going to be able to check their marks secured in written exam also as in SSB Interview together with their roll number and name.

How UPSC calculates the score of CDS results?

UPSC calculates the score of candidates as per the method mentioned below:
Candidates will get a +1 mark for every correct answer.
For the incorrect answer, 1/3 marks are going to be deducted as negative marking.
If candidates answer more than one option it’ll be treated as the wrong answer and can be counted as negative marking.

CDS Cutoff 2023:

UPSC releases the cutoff of CDS after the written test as well as the SSB interview is conducted. The cut off for CDS written exam is the aggregate marks of the least qualified candidate. Those candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks within the written exam are eligible to appear for the SSB Interview. the final CDS cutoff is set based on the marks of last recommended candidates in written exam and SSB Interview.
