ACDS Secunderabad 2023 Notification will be released soon. Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad has been established by Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). The college aims at imparting high standard dental education coupled with the development of good moral character among the children of regular army personnel/army pensioners and war widows.

The college was set up within the year 1996 and it started in 2001 at a temporary location. Currently it has been moved to this location in 2003. The present college campus was inaugurated by the Chief of Army staff, Gen N C Vij, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, ADC, COAS.

The college is recognized by Dental Council of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi and is giving the degree courses in BDS and MDS. The army Welfare Education Society aims to provide quality education at affordable cost. The college aim is “Learn to Excel”.

Courses Offered by ACDS Secunderabad:

The ACDS College offers the degree courses like BDS and MDS:

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) application process for the bachelor of dental surgery, the candidates’ can get the appliance form for BDS Program. The application form ought to be enclosed within the envelope. The candidate needs to affix adequate for registration charges if they fail to do so that admit cards are going to be dispatched by ordinary post solely.

Selection Process for ACDS, Secunderabad:

Admission is done on the basis of advantage list, ranks, based on marks obtained in combined written admission test (C – WAT) for BDS program and the admission are going to be done on the basis of merit rankings, based on the marks obtained in PG – WAT for MDS Program.

Master of Dental Surgery (MDS):

The application method for Master of dental surgery MDS in Army college of Dental Sciences, ACDS, Secunderabad. Candidates who are seeking for the admission, they will fill the application form for MDS course. The candidate should fill up the form and enclose it within the envelope, and affix the required registration fees together with the application form. If they fail to do so won’t able to get the admit cards.

The candidate’s selection is done on the basis of PG – WAT for MDS course.

ACDS Eligibility Criteria for MDS:

The criteria for the first year of the MDS Degree Course at the Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad are going to be done on the merit basis.

The ACDS has the seat sharing matrix, as per the Govt. of A.P and this can be implemented as per the rules of Govt. of A.P/ Dr. NTR. UHS. The provisional admission is granted to the candidates, which can be considered as the final acceptance of eligibility by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, A.P.

The college management has the right to cancel the admission to any of the students during the admission method or if they found irregular or not following any rules and regulation made by the University.
