UPSC IAS 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
Before filling the IAS 2022 form the candidate must read all the main points regarding the eligibility criteria of the candidate. The candidate fulfilling the criteria should solely apply for the examination.
Nationality: The candidate ought to be a citizen of India. Besides citizens of Bhutan, Nepal and Tibetan refugees who came before first Jan 1962 can even apply for the exam. UPSC IAS Exam Pattern:
The examination would be held in 3 stages – preliminary, mains and interview. The pre-exam is completely objective-based and also the main exams are descriptive based.
Civil Services 2022 Preliminary Exam:
In Pre, the candidate must give 2 exams. both the exams are objective-based. The candidate would be given four options within which he must select the correct answer. The first exams are of general study and second of CSAT, which is also known as the civil serviceability test. Both tee exams are of 200 marks every and are of the duration of 2 hours every. The candidate has to qualify for each exams to appear for the mains examination. There’s also negative marking in every wrong answer. So the candidate has to aware of the answer given.

Mains Exam:
The mains exam is descriptive, unlike pre. The candidate in these has to select any one modern language and Hindi. After that there would be an exam related to history, geography, polity, etc. the candidates are given choice in 2 subjects that they need to choose. Most of the candidates choose that subject that may help them to score well. The whole paper is of 1750 marks, the marks of the modern language and Hindi wouldn’t be counted but the candidate has to qualify them also:
