UPSC CSE 2023 Registration Form:

UPSC CSE 2023 form is made accessible from the third week of February 2023. Students will register for the exam until the third week of March 2023. UPSC CSE 2023 Eligibility Criteria & Qualification:

Nationality:
Applicants need to be an Indian citizen or subject of Bhutan/Nepal or Tibetan refugees who have migrated to India before first Jan 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
Candidates of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire, Zambia & Vietnam for permanent settlement in India are eligible.

Age Criteria:
Applying candidate minimum age limit needs to be twenty-one years and most age limits need to be below thirty-two years as on the first of August, 2023. He/she should haven’t been born before second August 1988 and not later than first August 1999. ST/SC candidates are provided five years of age relaxation within the upper age limit. OBC candidates are given three years of aged relaxation within the upper age limit.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidate should have a graduation degree.
Candidates within the last semester of their qualifying degree waiting for their results are eligible to apply. The result should be declared before the registration for the mains exam.

Attempt Limits:
For general candidates, the maximum number of attempt limit for the exam is 6.
For OBC candidates, the most attempt limit is nine.
No attempt limit for ST/SC candidates.

UPSC CSE 2023 Exam Pattern:

For the Preliminary Test:

Exam Mode: The exam is held in offline (Pen & paper mode).
Paper Language: The language of the paper is in – English & Hindi.
Type of questions: Within the exam, the question asked are of multiple choice question type.
No. of papers: There’ll be 2 papers – General Ability Test and Civil Services Aptitude Test.
Marks: Every paper is of two hundred marks.
Time Duration: 2 hours are given for each paper.
Marking: for each incorrect answer, 0.33 of the marks allotted to the question are reduced. in general studies, 2marks are provided for every correct answer whereas 2.5 marks are given in civil service aptitude test for each correct answer.

For Mains Exam:

Paper Language: The language of the paper is in – English & Hindi.
Type of Queries: Candidates will answer all questions (excluding Paper A and Paper B) in any language prescribed in the notification.
Question Type: The queries within the paper are subjective.

UPSC CSE Recruitment Process:

Preliminary:
In the prelims exam, candidates qualifying the exam are considered eligible for the mains exam. Paper-II of general studies is qualifying in nature with thirty-third fixed as minimum qualifying marks.

Mains:
In the mains exam, a written test is conducted.

Personality Test or Interview:
After a written test, an interview is conducted.

UPSC CSE 2023 Admit Card:

Admit card for CSE/ IAS 2023 examination are made accessible for download solely to the successfully registered candidates. Students can download the admit card through online mode 3 weeks before the exam. No, admit cards are sent through post to the candidates.

After the release of the result of prelims and mains, the interview or test is held. After this, the final result is released within February or March 2022 tentatively.

UPSC CSE 2023 Interview:

In the personality test or interview round, the candidate’s psychometric test, Assessment test additionally as the Personal Interview are taken. This interview is taken to assess the personal suitability of the candidate for a career in public service. The interview is of a total of 275 marks.
