The Parachute Regiment donned the new combat uniform of the Indian Army and carried Tavor Assault rifles at the iconic Republic Day parade this year 2022. President Ram Nath Kovind, who is also the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, takes a salute and has left the Rashtrapati Bhavan for Rajpath.
