NDA Selection Process: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) prescribes the selection process of the National Defence Academy (NDA)/ Naval Academy (NA). NDA Selection Process 2023 involves 2 stages – Written Examination and SSB Interview. Candidates appearing for NDA 2023 will got to appear for the written examination. On the basis of marks secured by candidates within the written examination, they’re going to be shortlisted for SSB Interview. As per the NDA Selection Process 2023, SSB Interview includes 2 stages – I and II. Candidates can qualify both the stages of SSB Interview to be eligible for final recruitment.

Through NDA Selection Process 2023 candidates are recruited to 3 defense wings – Army, Navy and Air Force. The written exam of NDA 2023 is scheduled to be conducted in Feb 2023. UPSC may release as many as four hundred (expected) vacancies of NDA 2023.

1. NDA Selection Process 2023 for Written Exam:

The written exam of NDA includes 2 subjects – Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). Throughout NDA Selection Process 2023 for the written examination, candidates are given 2 ½ hours period to answer each paper. The overall marks allotted to the written exam of NDA is 900 marks. In Mathematics, queries are asked from topics like algebra, matrices and determinants, trigonometry, analytical geometry of 2 and 3 dimensions, differential calculus, etc. GAT includes questions asked from English, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography, and Current Events. Candidates can get to qualify the cut off discharged by UPSC to be eligible to appear for SSB interview. The shortlisting of the candidates is done on the basis of marks obtained by candidates.

2. NDA Selection Process 2023 for SSB Interview:

The selection process of the SSB Interview includes 2 stages – I and II. In stage I of the NDA Selection Process 2023 for the SSB Interview, candidates got to appear for Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) test that is Picture Perception * Description Test (PP&DT). Candidates qualifying stage I will appear for Stage II of the SSB Interview) Stage II comprises of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests, and the Conference. Stage II tests are conducted for four days. Candidates qualifying both the stages of the NDA Selection Process 2023 of SSB Interview are eligible for final recruitment. Documents Required at the stage of SSB Interview 2023:

Candidates will get to carry original certificates together with one photocopy following documents at the time of the SSB Interview.
