NDA 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

According to NDA 2023 eligibility criteria, the applicant’s age ought to be between 16.5 to 19.5 years. Educational Qualifications:

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy.

12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing within the 12th class beneath the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination may apply for this examination.

Such candidates who qualify the SSB interview but couldn’t produce Matriculation/10+2 or equivalent certificate in original at the time of SSB interview ought to forward duly Self Attested Photocopies to ‘Directorate General of Recruiting, Army HQ, West Block JII, R.K. Puram, New Delhi- 110066’ and for academy candidates to ‘Naval Headquarters, DMPR, OI&R Section, Room No. 204, ‘C’ Wing, Sena Bhavan, New Delhi-110011′. Certified true copies/photo state copies of such certificates won’t be accepted.

Physical Standards:

Candidates should be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and naval academy Examination. A candidate who has resigned or withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any of the coaching academies of armed forces isn’t eligible to apply.

Candidates Appearing for 12th:

Candidates who are appearing 12th class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination may apply for the examination.
Candidates appearing within the eleventh class examination are not eligible for this examination.

Body Tattoos:

Permanent body tattoos are accepted solely on the inner face of a forearm. Tattoos on the inside of the elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand/Permanent body tattoos on the other a part of the body aren’t acceptable.
Tribes with tattoo marks on the face or body as per their existing custom and traditions are going to be allowable on a case by case basis.
Comdt selection Centre are going to be the competent authority for clearing such cases.

X-Ray Examination:

Any of the subsequent conditions detected at the time of X-Ray examination are going to be disqualified for Armed Forces:

Granulomatius disease of spine.
Arthritidies/spondylosis
Scoliosis more than fifteen degrees as measured by Cobb’s method (10 degrees for Army and Navy).
More than mild Kyphosis/Lordosis.
Spondylolisthesis/Spondylosis/Spondylolysis.
Herniated nucleus pulposes.
Compression fracture of vertebra.
Sacaralisation disease.
Cervical ribs with demonstrable neurological or Circulatory deficit.
Atlanto-occipital and atlanto-axial anomalies.
Incomplete Sacaralisation Unilateral or Bilateral.
Any other abnormality, if so considered by specialist.
