NDA Counselling: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for NDA (i) 2023 Exam. As per the official notification released, NDA (I) 2023 Exam is scheduled to be held in April 2023. The exam is held for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA for the 143rd course in Army and Navy and 105^th Naval Academy Course commencing from Jan 2023.

The National Defense Academy formally referred to as NDA is the Joint Service Academy for the Indian Armed Forces. Cadets of 3 armed services together with Army, Navy and Air Force are trained together within the academy, before moving forward with the pre-commissioning training. NDA is said to be the first tri-service academy within the world. Admissions within the academy are accepted via a written examination conducted by UPSC, followed by an extensive interview conducted by SSB. Finally, a medical test to keep a check on the candidate’s overall health and physical fitness.

Around 4, 50,000 candidates sit for the exam each year, among that solely 6,300 are called for the interview round. Out of those, solely 320 cadets are accepted to the academy, every semester. 70 for the Air force, 42 for Navy and 208 cadets for the army.

UPSC NDA Counselling 2023:

The selection method within the National Defense Academy is a two-stage process. Stage-1 is the written examination i.e. NDA 2023 test and also stage-2 is the SSB interview stage. The complete recruitment method in the NDA is judged on the basis of marks scored out 900 collectively in each the stages of recruitment. After the declaration of UPSC NDA 2023 Results, qualified candidates can need to register themselves at joinindianarmy.nic.within the time period.

Allotment of choice centers and dates will then be notified on the registered email ID. SSB Interview comprises 2 stages- Stage 1 (OIR &PPDT) and Stage 2- (Interview, Group Tasks, Psychology Test and Conference). After stage-2 is completed, a final merit list is generated by the UPSC which provides the final recruited candidates.

NDA 2023 Document Verification:

After personal interview round the eligible candidates will be got to appear for the verification round. The qualified candidates should bring the required original documents together with one set of Photostat of the required documents at Services Selection Center (SSC). Below is the set of needed original documents to be carried for the NDA 2023 Document Verification:
Qualification Certificate.
Proof of Identity (Pan card, Voter ID, Aadhar Card, etc.)
Birth Certificate.
Passport Size Photographs.
Category certificate for the Reserved class candidates.
Proof of Residence.

Medical Examination:

NDA Counselling 2023: Medical examination is the final round within the selection method. The candidates are referred to the Board of Service Medical officers by the SSB for medical examination. Candidates shall be deemed eligible for recruitment if and only if they’re found to be medically fit by the medical officers.
