Instrument battery test Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT)
Test Pilot Aptitude Battery (TFAP) is a single test. It is intended to evaluate the ability of a candidate to be trained as a pilot. PABT is used as a standalone device for the selection of agents inducing potential flight of the Directorate of the Air Force of India. PABT three tests ie test instrument battery (INSB), Sensory Motor Electrical Test (SMA) and speed control test (CVT). test instrument battery (INSB) is a pencil test and two are testing the machine. Test instruments battery (INSB) consists of two parts.
This test evaluates the assimilation of information and the ability of an individual to read and interpret the dials of the instrument panel of an aircraft. The candidates who receive fixed minimum criteria are tested machines. The test machine includes a test sensory power tool (SMA) and a speed control test (CVT). These tests measure the competence of the individual psychomotor coordination. These tests are done in one day and administered once in life.

INSB contains 75 questions in two parts 15 and 60. The total time is 35 minutes. You must find the address fighter, as his descendant, parent bank left or right. The In Charge agent explains all this before the test correctly. It will show you big dummy counters so you can easily understand. It includes a brief overview of all important gauges on airplanes to say. (Compass meters, climbing or diving meters, Horizon sensors, altimeter). Having obtained the knowledge of these counters, the applicant must provide evidence related to these meters. Only those who qualify are eligible for this trial to test the machine. 2nd: This test machine consists of two parts. 1. There are two rectangles (small is big). There comes a point at the top of the screen to be adjusted in the small rectangle. Another murder sound must be executed by pressing the rider. Another method is to put the yellow and red light simultaneously by the lever on the left hand. 2. Another test of the machine is the operating speed test in which a small rider point should overlap the free fall of the yellow dots on the upper screen. You have three chances all tests of the machine appear.

The purpose of this test is usually given to whether the candidate has alertness, presence of mind and self-confidence and proper control over his nerves, especially if it will be able to balance and flight control of the aircraft and will not break under stress.
These tests are designed to measure the relevant capacity in the art of flying an airplane. These are (a) Control Test Flight Test meter reading (b) (c) of the test strip drum.

Meter reading test
In this test, the applicant has 5 questions to answer in 12 minutes. After that, the second series of 60 questions about two meters (Horizon and Compass) for which they are given 20 minutes to answer.
This test is designed to see if a candidate has the ability to quickly read meters so you can tailor your flight using these meter readings.
The magnetic compass – The compass needle always points north. In this meter to read the compass needle indicates the direction of the aircraft relative to the north. Therefore, one can find the direction the plane is moving.
Altimeter – In Altimeter, needles clockwise move. Reading the needle on the altimeter the pilot is able to know the altitude (height) in which the aircraft is flying at a given time. Adjustments to the altitude of the aircraft are made using the altimeter. The accuracy of the altimeter in the plan is very important for safe flight.
speed indicator or speedometer air – The needle also moves in this position to the right. Reading the needle, the driver can find the speed of the aircraft per hour. Therefore, you can make adjustments if necessary.
Witness – From TI, the driver can know if the plane is turning left or right. If the plane is turning left, the instrument of the black ball remains in the center and the white needle moves to the right and if the aircraft becomes black right ball will remain in the center and the white needle moves toward the left. This means that the white needle will always move in the opposite direction to which the aircraft is turning.
Climbing and Bas meter Diving – In this regard, if the aircraft moves the needle moves up and sank when the needle moves down. Thus, the pilot can know if the plane goes up or down.
Win or lose meters high – shows that if the plane is gaining lose or maintain your altitude during the flight. The necessary adjustments are made by the driver using this instrument.
Control Test Flight
The whole device is installed in a room. Frosted glass screen in the front and a fixed seat in the center of the room. There are a number of speeds along the two sides of the saddle. There are
mechanical devices to control and direct flights.
This has two objectives. First, it is intended to test the ability of a candidate to fly a plane and control during the flight, so that follows the correct path in the air and maintains a good balance which is very essential during flight. Secondly, it is also considered the presence of mind, nervous control and monitoring of a candidate.
This test considers the reflective ability of a candidate. In this test, a light spot (ball) should be maintained at the center of two concentric squares. light spot if left, randomly moves across the screen. In addition, two red and yellow lights, which come on top left and top of the screen intermittently.
Now the devices necessary to control the area are:
manual control lever: This stick controls the movement of the lever in the up and down direction. It’s the way the train car changer. Move the stick and the ball moves forward moves across the screen.
Pedal: The pedal operation moves the light spot (ball) to the right or left.
Lever Light: It is expected that a hand lever when moving forward light turns red when he got back to the yellow light.
Sound button: A button on the top of the stick is used to disable beep sound on headphones.
Here is a sample window for this test. It is exactly what you see on the screen in an instant random time.

In this test, a point of light (red) should be superimposed on a series of yellow lights that run on top of the lower screen. Every time there is an overlap of success, there is a small blip on the hull. The more you manage to an overlapping red ball on yellow balls, the more points you get. An example screen is shown as:
