Indian Navy Sports Quota Entry Eligibility Conditions:

Direct Entry Petty Officer:

Educational Qualifications: 10+2 qualified in any stream or equivalent examination.
Sports Proficiency: Team Games. Ought to have participated at International/National/State level at junior /senior level or represented a University within the Inter-University tournament. Individual Events. Need to have attained a minimum of sixth position in Nationals (seniors) or third position in National (juniors) or third position within the inter-University meets.
Age: Seventeen to twenty-two years as on date of commencement of course. Candidates ought to have been born between 01 Feb 1997 to thirty-one January 2002 (Both dates inclusive)

Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR):

Educational Qualifications: 10+2 qualified in any stream or equivalent examination.
Sports Proficiency: Ought to have participated at International/National/State level or represented a University within the Inter-University tournament.
Age: Seventeen to twenty-one years as on date of commencement of course. Candidates ought to have been born between 01 Feb 1998 to thirty-one January 2002 (Both dates inclusive).

Matric Recruits (MR):

Educational Qualifications: Tenth /equivalent qualified.
Sports Proficiency: Need to have participated at International/National/State level tournament.
Age: seventeen to twenty-one years as on date of commencement of course. Candidates ought to are born between 01 April 1998 to thirty-one Mar 2002 (Both dates inclusive). Candidates selected are going to be enrolled as logistics (Chef) or logistics (Stewards) and hygienists.

Indian Navy Sportsmen Pay & Allowances:

During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs.14,600/- per month is going to be admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they’ll be placed in Level three of the Defense Pay Matrix (₹21,700- ₹43,100). Additionally, they’ll be paid MSP @ ₹5200/- per month and DA (as applicable).

Selection Criteria:

Deserving candidates would be referred to as to appear for trials at designated Naval Centers. The candidates’ qualifying trials can undergo an examination at INS Hamla, Mumbai. Indian Navy Sportsmen Selection Procedure:

The selection procedure for Indian Navy Sports Quota Entry 2019 is as follows:-

• Candidates declared medically Temporary Unfit within the recruitment medical examination will avail specialist review from the specified hospital among the most period of twenty-one days. No further review/appeal is permissible.
• Candidates declared Medically Permanent Unfit within the achievement medicals will appeal for Specialist opinion in a military hospital among twenty-one days on payment of Rs.40 /- by Military Receivable Order (MRO) on Government Treasury. (Medical fitness certificate aside from that of the specialist opinion within the selected hospital won’t be considered). No review/appeal is permissible.
• The select list is going to be prepared from the candidates who qualify in all respects depending upon the accessible vacancies especially sports disciplines.
• The candidature of candidates selected is valid for this batch solely.
• All select listed candidates also will be forwarded Police Verification form together with the offer of enrolment and also the candidates are going to be needed to submit the same to INS Hamla at the time of registration once obtaining their antecedents verified on this manner from the concerned district police authorities.
