The Indian Army, with its impressive performance, is the third-largest army in the world, with over 1,325,000 2,143,000 active troops and reserve troops. Range – Marshal
Insignia – National emblem on a cross-stick and sword in a lotus wreath
Marshal rank is the highest rank in the Indian Army. Is rank and a quarter of ceremony or military Sam Manekshaw and Marshal KM Cariappa were the only two agents to be elevated to the rank of marshal.
Range – Overview

Sepoy are identified as the body they serve. For example, a signal cipayo identifies it as a signalman, as a rifleman infantry and armor according to Corps Gunner.
Recruitment process
General obligation
Teacher training: Go to SSLC marks or matrix with 45 percent overall and 33 percent in each subject.
Age – 17 1/2 to 21 years
Marital Status – Male Single
Physical standards – physical standards of eligibility vary the candidate region, but in general
the minimum height of the candidate must be 167 cm
the weight of the candidate should not be less than 50 kg
the minimum chest of the candidate must be 77 cm and expansion of at least 5 cm
Applicants must be free from all communicable diseases, infections and cardiovascular diseases, eye and ENT deterioration.
Having found the ad on the Internet or television or new job, candidates must apply by filling out a form. They will be asked to select candidates who will undergo a fitness test. Those selected will be sent for medical tests and also those of a written test deemed eligible (GK, mathematics, computer science, and awareness) will be administered

National Defence Academy (Pune)
Candidates can appear for UPSC exam after passing class XII. They will be invited to the shortlisted candidates to attend an interview five days of jury selection services (SSB), which includes physical evidence. Medical tests are also given. Cadets spend a Service Option (Army, Navy, Air Force) will be offered. After about three cadets training here, they are sent to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, for a period of 1 year prior to commissioning.
Examination of Combined Defence Services (SCES)
Candidates may appear at the entrance to CDS by the UPSC exam in the last year of graduation or if they have a degree. After crossing the SSB and medical tests that have been installed in the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, to form for 18 months before the commissioning.

Candidates for the penultimate year engineering can apply through the SIU. Shortlisted candidates will then be detailed for training at the IMA, Dehradun, for a period of one year. After completing the course, the agents benefit from seniority from year to date, promotion and increments.
During technical graduate
This is similar to the SIU, but is applicable to candidates in the final year of BE or B Tech or have completed BE or B Tech
AEC (men)
Candidates who have passed Postgraduate MA / M.Sc / M.Com / MCA / MBA (in subjects as communicated) with marks of first or second division are eligible. After 12 months of training, candidates are granted permanent commission.
Officers Training Academy, Gaya
Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 exams with 70 percent marks in physics, chemistry, mathematics and can be applied depending on the cut line indicated in the notice. After the interview SSB eligible cadets are sent to the OTA Gaya, for basic military training and technical training.
Short Board of Directors
The Army also offers short Administration Commission (SSC) for men and women for a period of 10 or 14 years.
The SSC can be input to one of the categories – JAG technical input and non-technical, or NCC.
