Educational Criteria for Indian Soldiers:
Soldier (General Duty) All Arms: The age requirement for this position is 17.5 to 21 years. However, for candidates, who have completed their higher secondary no percentage is taken into consideration. simply a higher secondary completion certificate is enough.
Soldier (Technical Arms): For this position, candidates should have completed their intermediate or 10+2 examination in a science discipline with English, arithmetic, chemistry, and physics subjects with a minimum of fifty of aggregate marks and 40% in each paper. Soldier Clerk (All Arms): It’s necessary that the candidates should have passed arithmetic or accounts or book keeping and English at school ten or twelve with a minimum of 40% marks in each paper. For candidates with B. Sc qualification with English and arithmetic, 40% of mark demand is waived. For graduates while not these subjects, they have to have scored a minimum of 40% of marks in these subjects a minimum of at their higher secondary or class ten level.
Soldier Nursing Assistant: Candidates with Bachelor of Science with bioscience/zoology/botany needn’t got to fulfill the market demand. However, the candidates ought to have studied all four subjects at the higher secondary level also. The age demand is 17.5-23 years.
Soldier Tradesmen (All Arms): Candidates, who are between the age group of 17.5-23 years and have completed their tenth or ITI except Mess keeper and housekeeper.

Junior Commissioned Officer (Religious Teacher): Graduates in any discipline between the age group of 27-34 years will apply. Aside from this, the candidates should satisfy the requisite qualification in their own religious denomination.
Havildar Education (Army Education Corps): Vacancies for this position is declared in 2 teams, namely; group X and Group Y. Candidates applying for group X should have completed their MCA/M.
