Entry Standards (A) physical Flight

(I) Height and weight: Minimum height: 162.5 cm with correlated weight, leg length: Min – 99 cms. Max – 120cms.Thigh-length: Max – 64 cm seat height: Min – 81.5 cms. Max – 96 cms.

(Ii) Vision: (a) the minimum 6/6 6/9 visual acuity in one eye and another, correctable to 6/6 only for farsightedness. (B) Myopia Manifesto – Nothing. (C) LASIK for vision correction is permissible to transport and helicopter streams Commission Short (vol Branch) if the following conditions are met when the medical examination of the Air Force: – (i ) LASIK surgery should not have been brought before the age of 20 years. (Ii) The axial length of the eye must be not more than 25.5 mm, measured by the IOL master. (Iii) following the issue from at least twelve months should uncomplicate steady LASIK. There is no history or evidence of any complications. (Iv) post LASIK corneal thickness, as measured by a corneal pachymeter should not be less than 450 microns. (V) People with high refractive errors (> 6D) before LASIK surgery should be excluded. Candidates must not suffer from color or night blindness.

(Iii) All other medical criteria would be assessed by the medical authorities of the Air Force whose decision would be given in the final form.
