Physical Standard Required for CDS 2021:

Candidates should be physically fit as per the prescribed physical standard by UPSC.

Candidate should be in good physical and sound mental health and free from any disease/disability that may interfere with the efficient performance of duties.

There ought to be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or overweight.

The minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 157.5 cm. for Army, 157 cm for Navy and 162.5 cms for Air Force.

The minimum height of women candidates’ ought to be 152 cm.

CDS Eligibility Criteria Important Points 2021:

For IMA, candidates born earlier than Jan 2, 1996 and not later than July 1, 2001 are solely eligible.

Candidates born not earlier than Jan 2, 1996 and not later than Jan 1, 2001 solely are eligible for Indian naval academy.

For Air Force Academy, candidates should born not earlier than Jan 2, 1996, and not later than Jan one, 2000.
