Aerodrome Ice Skating Complex — Houston
The 42,900-square-foot Aerodrome Ice Skating Complex in Houston was built in 1995 and features a regulation-sized ice skating rink for public use. Apart from open skating, the Aerodrome provides hockey and figure skating lessons. Special events are also held at the Aerodrome, such this year’s Nutcracker on Ice on December 15 and 16.

Chaparral Ice — Austin
Chaparral Ice in Austin has provided public skating, adult and child hockey classes, and figure skating instruction for more than 25 years. Even though ice skating is most popular during the holidays, Austinites frequently take advantage of the summertime heat by taking a spin around the ice rink. The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center — The Woodland
The 21,000-square-foot multipurpose building at The Woodlands Town Center is home to the seasonally open Ice Rink. Located roughly thirty minutes to the north of Houston, the 1,000 acres of retail, dining, and entertainment space at The Woodlands Town Center. Houston is home to yet another enormous, year-round ice skating rink in Texas. Within a shopping center, The Ice at the Galleria provides 20,000 square feet of space. Green Mountain Energy Ice at Discovery Green — Houston
The only outdoor skating rink in Houston is located at Discovery Green’s Green Mountain Energy Ice. Skaters can enjoy 7,716 square feet of ice while skating under downtown Houston’s dazzling holiday lights. The water originates from Kinder Lake in the park.
