Step by Step Procedure for taking admission in NDA

(Nationality:

A candidate must be:

i) a citizen of India, or
ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
iii) a subject of Nepal or
iv) a Tibetan refugee who came to India with the intention of settling there permanently in India
v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and African countries in eastern Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi , Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention to settle permanently in India.

Provided that the previous candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) must be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
This qualification certificate shall not, however, be necessary in the case of candidates who have relapsed Gorkha in Nepal.

(B) Limits on age, sex and marital status:

A candidate must be a single man who has reached the age of 16 1/2 years and has not attained the age of 19 on January 1 or July 1 following the year of the review year.
Candidates should not marry before completing their full training. A candidate who marries after the date of your application, but success will not be selected for training.
A candidate who marries during training will be discharged and will be responsible for repayment of all expenses incurred by him in the government.

(C) Academic Preparation:

In the wing of the Academy of National Defence of the army – pass Class 12 of the School Education or equivalent structure 10 + 2 examination by a State Education Board or a University.
For the Air Force and Naval Wings of the Academy of National Defence and the + 2 Grade 10 (Executive) at the Naval Academy: – pass Class 12 model 10 + 2 school education or with physical and equilvalent mathematics conducted by a State education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in Class 12 under the pattern of school education or equivalent examination 10 + 2 can also be applied.

(D) Physical Standards: Applicants must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to the examination of the Academy of National Defence and the Naval Academy, as instructed:

Applicants are invited to correct minor / sore defects to accelerate the completion of the medical examination in the military hospital after being recommended in the SSB. Then the evils that are considered common minor ailments:

Cera (ears), deviated nasal septum, hydrocele / phimosis, overweight / underweight, size under the breast, Pilas, gynecomastia, tonsillitis, varicocele

Recommended by the service candidate selection committee will be submitted to a medical examination by a board of medical services workers. Only candidates will be admitted to the academy who are declared fit by the medical board. The minutes of the Medical Committee are confidential and may be disclosed to anyone. However, unfit candidates will be intimidated by the President of the Medical Board and the Medical Board of Appeal application procedure also suggested the candidate.

The candidates declared unfit for medical Appeal Board will be to understand about the disposal of the Commission for medical review.

(A) The applicant must be in good physical and mental health and free of illness / disability that may interfere with the efficient performance of military duties.

(B) There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or low birth weight. The candidate must not be overweight or obese.

(C) The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm. (162.5 cm Air Force F)

An output of 10% (6 kg marine) medium weight shown in Table 1 above is considered within the normal range. However, in people with heavy construction and large bones as well as people with thin but otherwise healthy, he can be relaxed to some extent on merit.

Note 1: (. 5 cm navy) up to 2.5 cm Height relaxable may allow the medical board certifying that the candidate is likely to grow and reach the standard at the end of their training.

Note 2: To meet the special requirements as a pilot in the acceptable measures of the Air Force of the leg length, the length of the thigh and seat height will be as under: –

81.50cms seat height. 96. 00 cms.
Due to the lower age of candidates NDA, a margin of 5.0 cm up. height 2.5 cm. the length of the leg (minimum) to 1.0 cm. seat height (minimum) can always give what is certified by the Medical Committee that the candidate is likely to grow and achieve the required level at the end of their training in NDA.

Chest should be well developed. Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cm. Minimum range expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cm. The measurement is taken with a set of bands so that its lower edge must touch the nipple on the front and top of the belt should touch the bottom corner of the shoulder blades. Chest radiography is mandatory and will be taken to rule out breast disease.

There should be no disease of the bones and joints of the body. X-ray of the spine of the candidates will not be carried out as a routine, except for the Air Force. It will, however, be done with the advice of the specialist surgery whenever clinically indicated. minor defects of birth that can not interfere with the performance of military functions may be acceptable on merit.
